im a sucker for collabs, what can i say. this track is a really good example of different genres of music working together. people used to isolate artists and songs by whatever category they belonged to and refused to compromise those borders, but im glad things have long since changed.
shin tae kwon's style is sorta interesting because he both sings and raps. his pronounciation while rapping is relatively terse, and he seems to stick to that characteristic. as for singing, hes not the most amazing vocalist, but hearing both his singing voice and rapping voice in the same song makes for a more interesting experience.
taru, who relatively recently went solo under "taru", sings in one of the most cutesy manners that i know of at the moment. the combined effects of her tone, style, voice, and soft sounding pronounciation truly lend her to accompaniment. i dont know whether or not this is just because she is being featured in another song and thats what she was meant to do, or if that was one of the reasons she was chosen for it. what i do know is that almost anything that is "featuring taru" i tend to like for similar reasons - her little add ins and solid solos, which always seem to fit the song.
i also feel the arrangements for this song, both vocal and instrumental, are pretty good.
