another fun group

南拳媽媽 (Nan Quan Mama) is a taiwanese band thats been closely tied to Jay Chou (who actually wrote this piece) ever since they attended high school. this is probably my favorite song of theirs.

cultural note: the horn at the beginning is like an ice cream trucks song, except its the old guy that sells vanilla puffs.

i really like the creativity and dynamic this group has in general. they make use of lots of different instruments and sounds, mix up their vocals and styles, and arent afraid to try new things or sound unusual. sure not everything is really a hit, but they definitely release some cool stuff.
